Flying full back Fountain joins the management team for the reserves as assistant coach and also takes the captains armband. His presence and attitude towards football makes him a natural leader and an obvious choice for the captaincy. Ever present for the div4 runners up Ash made 35 appearances scoring 6 from right back but finished high in Gayton's assist chart, his love of getting forward and quality of delivery makes him a real danger in attack but also posses great defending attributes. Res gaffa Gotsell was elated with his new signing "we had a rough ride last season and to tempt someone of Ashes calibre is amazing, he's bought into the project that I'm building and this is a real signal of intent from us that we are moving in the right direction. I'm delighted he's joined us and being a level 2 coach it was a simple decision to add him on to the management team with myself and Craig Wyllie." An excited Ash said,"leaving Gayton after all this time was a hard choice but the chance to help build something from scratch was to temping to turn down, hopefully my form from last season carries on and i can give my all to the team."
Gotsell doesn't plan to stop here with new signings and more are set to be announced in the coming days
